DAY TWENTY-SEVEN | NEW KINGDOM HEART

by Oct 23, 2021New Things0 comments

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”
Ezekiel 36:26

The most important agenda on God’s mind for the earth is the establishment of His kingdom. That’s why Jesus taught his disciples how to partner with God on this agenda, which is by praying to God that His Kingdom comes on earth.

God’s will won’t find expression on earth if men don’t permit Him to come into their respective territories. God’s interest is mostly in His kingdom. This implies that God cannot do much on earth without people who are willing to do all it takes to ensure His kingdom come.

What God does is to give people who are His own–people redeemed by the blood and declared righteous–a heart that can respond to the needs of His kingdom. Such people are people who can allow God’s kingdom into their space, they allow God into their sphere of influence. To allow God’s kingdom into your space is a preparation to see God’s power and glory.

If you still find it difficult to obey God, you don’t have the kingdom heart. But you can receive this new kingdom heart when you ask for it in prayers.

PRAYER POINT
1. Father, forgive me for every time I disobeyed you in the past
2. Father Lord, give me a new heart and a new spirit
3. Father Lord, let your kingdom come into my family, work, and community.
