DAY TWENTY-FIVE | O LORD RENEW MY YOUTH

Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s
Psalms 103:5

Youthfulness signifies strength and vigour. Nobody ever wants to lose their strength because we all need it to remain active and stay alive. We want to jump around without restrictions and participate actively in society.
However, the reality of life is that it’s not always so. As much as we desire to remain youthful bodily, it doesn’t always remain so because the natural process of life happens to everyone. Time takes away our youthfulness, for some others, sicknesses takes away their youthfulness from them.

The supernatural can superimpose on the natural such that the supernatural can halt a natural process and alter it completely. Juan Ponce de Leon, the Spanish explorer and conquistador believed this, thus, he set out to find the location of the mythical Fountain of Youth whose water can make anyone remain young and alive for a very long time without sicknesses. Unfortunately, it was only a myth.

Nevertheless, there’s another sure fountain of life that can make you remain youthful, and fulfil your days. That fountain is found in God. Caleb drank from that well, and he fought on the mountains at the age of 80 without wearing out in strength.

Similarly, Moses passed away at 120 and his eyes didn’t dim, because he also drank from this well. God can renew your youth because He’s the fountain of life. You should only believe. God is merciful and will renew your youth like the eagle.

PRAYER POINTS
1. I bless you Lord for satisfying me with good things.
2. O Lord, renew my youth like the eagle
3. Give me water from the fountain of life and renew my strength
