Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19

If you are a born again child of God, you possess what can be called kingdom dominion. That means that you have what it takes to exercise authority over your territory and enforce the rule of God’s kingdom in your environment.
As a child of God, you can subdue your environment. In a market setting for example, when people talk about the woman who always sells more than everybody because she has a native doctor that gives her charms to put in front of her shop, they are saying she has taken dominion over that environment. If there is any Christian in that environment, he should respond, ‘I am a child of God. I have dominion. I therefore exercise authority over this environment and decree that everyone using the power of the kingdom of darkness will not operate because I am here’. That is how to take authority.

In Genesis 3:15, God said, ‘And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head and thou shall bruise his heel’. Jesus Christ is the seed of the woman. So God was saying that even though Adam and Eve had fallen, a time would come when he would come as a human being and destroy the serpent’s illegal hold and restore dominion and authority to man. Jesus Christ did not just die so that you and I can have salvation and go to heaven. He died to restore dominion and authority here on earth also.

PRAYER: I have been restored to the kingdom of God therefore I have power and authority to overcome everything that wants to fight the power of God in me. I dominate, I refuse to live in fear. In Jesus name, Amen.

UPGRADE: Your present level is due for divine upgrade of power. You can not stay this way for ever. Increase your hunger in the next few days of the fasting, cry unto God for power upgrade.
