DAY TWO | TIMES OF REFRESHING

by Sep 28, 2021New Things0 comments

“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”
Acts 3:19

Are you going through hard times and it feels like you can’t get out of it? Does your present situation make you worrisome? Do you desire a quick transformation in your life? Then, you are on track.

Nothing else seems refreshing and beautiful, like being in the presence of God. God’s presence refreshes your spirit and soul. The time of refreshing is that moment in life where no other place seems to matter except God’s presence. In God’s presence is fullness of joy, peace forever and comfort for every troubled soul. God desires you to come to Him the way you are so that the glory of His presence may encapsulate you and refresh your soul.

To be in God’s presence is not a time to roll out your request but to enjoy fellowship with God alone. Today, the Almighty God is calling you into His presence. He is reaching out to those who desire refreshment.  You don’t have to keep wallowing in pain and struggles. Just come dwell in God’s presence.

The beauty of God’s presence is that everything becomes new as you fellowship with Him. The more you fellowship with God, the more the beauty of His glory rubs off on you and everything about your life becomes new. However, there is an instruction that precedes this time of refreshing.

Yes, the moment God was to transform an individual’s life, God wants you to put behind old lifestyle, habits and behaviour that had made you bury your head in guilt, shame and regret. God wants you to put away whatever cannot stand His glory and come to Him.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father God, I repent of my sins today. Please, wash me by the blood of Jesus and make me whole.
2. Father God, create in my heart a longing for your presence.
3. My Heavenly Father, revive my soul and refresh me on every side in the name of Jesus Christ!
