DAY TWENTY-TWO | THE REVEALING FIRE

by Nov 17, 202130 Days of Fresh Fire0 comments

“O God, You know my foolishness, And my sins are not hidden from You.”
Psalms 69:5

The same attribute of light is found in the fire.  They both reveal. However, fire does not only reveal but also produce effects. These effects could either be to consume or purify what it revealed.

Similarly, the revealing fire of God exposes all works of darkness and destroys it while it purifies your heart of any form of ungodliness. Dear believer, you must be conscious of this revealing fire or else, the devil will mess up your life and everything dear to you.

The operation of the devil and works of darkness thrives more in the dark. For instance, sin thrives more in secrecy.
Rather than keeping sin secret, confess it to God and expose it to His word. Let the fire of God purge your heart and you will be free from sin and its hold on your life

While the revealing fire of God exposes and destroys every work of darkness, it purifies a believer. The process of this purification could be hard at times. It might require you to let go of your pleasures, cravings and desires.

However, your ability to yield to this purifying power creates a new you. Once the revealing of God completes its works on your life, it reveals God’s glory upon you and makes you a new person.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father Lord, let your revealing fire pass through my life
2. Father Lord, let your revealing fire exposes every hidden work of darkness in and around my life.
3. Lord Jesus, let your fire expose any form of hidden sin in my life.
