DAY TWENTY-THREE | FIRE FOR DOMINION

by Nov 18, 202130 Days of Fresh Fire0 comments

“Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Genesis 1:28

The dominion mandate was given to every man at creation. However, humankind lost this dominion to the devil as a result of disobedience. It will interest you to know that the devil had ever since brought humanity under him using the weapon of fear. Fear silence your power and make you feel helpless even in the face of a situation you would have walked over.

Nevertheless, God made another provision for this dominion power through Jesus Christ. Anyone who believes and receives the sacrifice of Jesus regains the sceptre of dominion which we once lost due to disobedience.

As a believer, you have been given the sceptre of authority to rule over nature, circumstances, principalities and forces of darkness that war against humanity. But you need some more to exercise this dominion. You need the fire for dominion.

Yes, salvation through Jesus Christ indeed made humankind get back what we once lost. But, you need to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to exercise your dominion. Obey the Holy Spirit when He instructs you. Never have a will beside the will of God through the leading of His Spirit in you.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father Lord, I submit myself to you Lordship for the rest of my life.
2. Father Lord, give me fire for dominion.
3. I decree and declare that my heart is receptive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
