DAY TWENTY-FIVE | TOO HOT FOR THE ENEMY

by Nov 25, 202130 Days of Fresh Fire0 comments

“Be sober; be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
1Peter 5:8

Yes, you can be too hot to handle by the enemy. The devil thrives in an atmosphere of complacency. He makes you feel so relaxed, lukewarm and comfortable with your present state. This is the crafty nature which the devil had been using since time immemorial. He will make you see prayer time as a waste, fasting as a hunger strike and allow you to cherish sleep more than times for prayers and study.

Please, do not fall for the trap of the devil. He is the one enemy you must fight out of your life. When you begin to feel too comfortable with sin and worldly pleasures, watch it. The devil is by the corner.

Subsequently, one of the devil’s major targets is your time. He knows that his time on earth is limited. So, he ensures that you waste yours on frivolity until there is no more time to make amends. I pray for you today may you not regret the time you ought to have spent seeking God.

Now is the best time to invest in prayers, fasting and Bible study. These are practices that can set a believer on fire and make you too hot for the enemy. Do not let this enemy cheat you of your precious time with God. Quality time is the hallmark of fellowship. Therefore, spend more time with God. Once this is accomplished, become more disciplined to pray when you ought to.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father Lord, make me too hot for the enemy to handle me.
2. Father Lord, help me to be more disciplined in prayers, fasting and the study of your word.
3. Father Lord, I refuse to be a victim of lukewarmness.
