DAY TWELVE | A NEW THING

by Oct 8, 2021New Things0 comments

“Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
Isaiah 43:19

God still does new things. Whenever you hear God saying He will do a new thing, what it implies is that He will do for you a miracle you never imagined, planned or thought of, which will become a surprise to everyone around you. God loves to awe His children and show to them how much of a great God He is.

A new thing is God’s new work, which surpasses every human effort, record or what you used to embrace as your best. Indeed, God’s new thing is a total replacement of the old. However, it is up to you to allow God. It is unwise to withstand God whenever He wants to start something new.

Some people pray for newness but they oppose it themselves by still holding to what is old in their life. God will never put a new wine in an old bottle. There must be something that needs to change first in your attitude, habit or character before the new thing becomes a reality. Is there any old mentality that has been delaying you from accessing the new thing? Today, I want you to put it off and surrender to God.

Let God take over the wheel of your life and stop dragging it with Him. A lot of believer’s bring before God their plans, programs and objective, while God is saying to them that He has a new plan for them.

Don’t give God what you plan to do. Go to Him with a plain sheet and let Him write for you what He planned for your life. Allow God take over your life and you will marvel at the beautiful things He will make out of your life. It is a new day for someone.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father God, please do a new thing in my life.
2. Father God, I surrender and empty myself before you. Please fill me up.
3. Father God, do a miracle in my life that would make me a wonder to my world.
4. My Father God, take over my life and do something new for your glory.
