DAY SIXTEEN | MY FATHER, GIVE ME A NEW FIRE

“I baptize with water those who turn from their sins and turn to God. But someone is coming soon who is far greater than I am–so much greater than I am not even worthy to be his slave. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.”
Matthew 3:11

Look at Bible history, no saints in the Bible ever achieved great heights without crying to God for an outpouring of the new fire of the Holy Spirit.
Take for instance John, with how glorious his baptism of water was, he knew that the people need a baptism of fire to truly enter great possibility in the kingdom of God. And that was why John the Baptist said that the one coming after him would baptize the people with the holy ghost and fire.

A new fire is what God will use to purge, purify and clean up every form of impurity in our life. A gold shines brighter when it goes through fire. Similarly, your life becomes more glorious with the new fire. This is not the best you can achieve in ministry, career or in your society. You need a new fire for greater exploit.

The new fire is the anointing of the Holy Ghost upon a believer for excellence, fervency, discipline, dedication and progress. Surely, you need a new fire for the new level you are about to enter. A wise man once said, for every new level there is a new devil. The more you rise higher the greater the intensity of hell to bring you down. Hence, the need for your cry of a new fire.

The door God opens to a generation is for the prepared; people who are hungry for the new fire. The fire will keep you burning throughout your generation once you enter through the door God opens. These are that men like Kenneth Hagin, Kathryn Kulhuman, Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa and the likes enter through that door and generations after them still feels their impact.

How hungry are you for this new fire?

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father God, give me a new fire.
2. Oh Lord, give me fresh anointing from on high.
3. My Father God, rekindle in me unquenching hunger for you
