“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”

Whenever God wants to start something new in the life of a believer, He releases a new anointing for it. This anointing is the power of the Holy Spirit upon a believer to do the extraordinary beyond logic or reasoning. For example, the new anointing came upon Samson and He single handedly took the gate of a city on his soldier (Judges 16:3).

Similarly, the anointing came upon Jesus and He did extraordinary feat during his earthly ministry. You see, when the anointing comes upon you, things are done with ease and your struggles become over. Have you tried all you know should be done but yet no result to show? Then, you should cry to God for a new anointing.

The Bible says,
“It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.”
Isaiah 10:27

Awesome! With the anointing, burdens are lifted, struggle is over and you enter into a new season of rejoicing and glory.

Subsequently, you need the new anointing for effective service. Dear believer, you cannot do the work of the ministry effectively without a fresh anointing always. You have to stay fresh to be relevant in life and ministry. The new anointing is the secret to exploit in ministry. Therefore, I want you to be hungry for the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon your life. Surely, God gives it liberally to those who ask. Why not ask for a new anointing today?

PRAYER POINT

1. Father Lord, release the new anointing of the Holy Ghost upon my life.
2. Henceforth, I decree ease upon my life by the virtue of the anointing.
3. Father Lord, I receive grace for exploit.
