DAY NINE | CARRIERS OF HIS FIRE

by Nov 4, 202130 Days of Fresh Fire0 comments

“Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not.”
Jeremiah 20:9

The fire of God is real. It is either you carry this fire, or you don’t. There is no middle way to it. Both God and demonic forces will know if you truly carry the fire of God in you. The truth is, you cannot carry the fire and live like ‘normal’ humans. The fire of God compels you to God’s will at all times.
Consequently, those who are carriers of God’s fire are people who had separated themselves from the crowd to be with God alone (2 Corinthians 6:17). God does not move with the crowd. But, if He finds a man from the crowd, He calls such man alone and fills him with the fire. Carriers of God’s fire are people who value God’s presence above anything else.

You cannot carry this fire if you do not have the discipline to always wait upon God. For instance, Moses went to the mountain a normal man for 40 days and returned to the people transfigured (Exodus 34:29-25). Also, Jesus Christ had to spend forty days and nights in the desert to carry this fire, which spread His fame abroad (Matthew 4). Indeed, the secret to carrying this fire is spending quality time before the Lord. Do not rush out in prayers. Stay!

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father Lord, make me a person of your presence.
2. I decree that the passion of the Lord consume my heart so much that I have no other will than His.
3. Father Lord, make me burn afresh for you.
