DAY FIFTEEN | SET ME ON FIRE LORD

by Nov 12, 202130 Days of Fresh Fire0 comments

“John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptise you with water; but one mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”
John 3:16

The word ‘fire’ was mentioned 549 times in the Bible. Ordinarily, it might not mean anything to the average person, but as a believer, there are deeper meanings to it. You must know that you need fire in your life. But then, what kind of fire are we talking about here? Of course, it is the fire of the Holy Ghost.

The truth is, you might love God genuinely, but the devil can still make a mess of your life if you do not have the fire of the Holy Ghost. Without this fire, you will feel helpless in the face of oppression and watch helplessly while your loved ones suffer.

Today, you must cry to God to set you on fire. And if you are already on fire, understand that you must continuously fan it up to flame. Your intense hunger for more of God ignites the fire in you. So, when you begin to fast, pray and feed on God’s word, this fire starts to burn gradually in you until it becomes a huge flame. However, you must never neglect the practices that got you the fire or else; you might lose it.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father Lord, set me on fire for you.
2. Father Lord, my heart long and thirst for more of you. Please, fill me up.
3. Father Lord, let not your fire on my life go down.
