DAY EIGHT | PURIFIED BY FIRE

by Nov 3, 202130 Days of Fresh Fire0 comments

“He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the LORD an offering in righteousness.”
Malachi 3:3

Consider this; a 50-Karat gold is not 100% gold because it still contains some impurities. However, most of these impurities can be removed when the gold is exposed to a high degree of fire.

In the Bible, gold and silver are mainly purified with fire. The process involves heating the gold in a fire so that the impurities rise to the surface and are easily removed.

Likewise, the word of God is a representative of the fire for the refiner. It exposes your weakness and inadequacies to you so that you can genuinely repent before God and become more established in the works of righteousness.

God’s word is a refining fire, while God Himself is the refiner. He is more concerned about your purity than your offering. No amount of money, service or good deeds can substitute God’s desire for purity in His Children, especially His ministers.

As a minister of God, He wants your act and heart to be refined first before you begin to minister to the people. Either as a pastor or a steward in God’s vineyard, your service is nothing with a pure heart

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father Lord, search me and know my ways. If there is any evil way, please restore and refine me.
2. I decree and declare that I am delivered from every form of impurities hindering my walk with God.
3. Father Lord, purify me with your fire.
