DAY 7 | FRESH VISITATIONS

“Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.”
Luke 1:26-27

You don’t need many divine visitations for a change to happen in your life. Just one visitation is enough. Mary had her own visitation and became the mother of our Lord and Saviour (Luke 1:39-56). Abraham and Sarah had theirs and this aged couple gave birth to the child of promise (Genesis 18 and 19). The woman with the issue of blood had her visitation and a long time ailment became a story of the past.

Today, I want you to get ready for your own fresh visitation. Is there any area of your life where you need a new visitation? If so, I would like to show you how to position yourself for one today.

What qualifies people for heaven’s fresh visitation is the consecration of their hearts. God does not despise a pure heart. His Spirit searches the inward part of humans and once he finds a heart like His, who is in desperate need, heaven visits such a person. Choose not to habour unforgiveness, strife and hatred in your heart. Love God with everything in you. Also, love humanity.

Consequently, God will never do anything new with your old life of a hardened heart. Therefore, repent before the Lord so that you may enjoy the freshness that flows from His throne.

More so, a fresh visitation can be triggered by your act of kindness. Abraham unknowingly entered the host of heaven by a simple act of kindness. Surely,  there are gods among men. But if you treat all men as though they are nobody, you might miss the day of your fresh visitation. You must learn to see God in people and be kind to them.

Surprisingly, God will not come in the fullest of His glory. Rather, He always likes to come in the likeness of men. When He decides to visit you, may you not disdain Him and lose your hour of fresh visitation.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father God, a heart like yours is my desire.
2. Father God, please visit me today and for ever
3. I decree that may I not wander away when heaven chooses to visit me.
4. I receive discernment and divine sensitivity for divine visitations.
