If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:1-2

As kingdom people, our consciousness of the kingdom is very important. We cannot focus our minds on this earth as though everything ends here. There is a world that is greater than this.

Today’s text says that we should seek those things which are above where Christ sits on the right hand of God. It says we should set our affection on things above, not on things on the earth. How are we supposed to do that? By being ‘…steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vein in the Lord’ (1 Corinthians 15:58).

These are the last days. Fix your gaze on the kingdom. Make it your focus. Be on fire for the Lord at all times. Be instant in season and out of season, proclaiming the word of God.

PRAYER: Lord, I pray for the grace to make your Kingdom my primary focus in this life. May I never take my eyes off you, Jesus. I pray in your dear name, amen.

REMEMBER: God will reward you for all your devotion in the ministry of help, giving, serving, and investing in the kingdom. No matter what season you find yourself, keep your focus on the kingdom.
