Day 21 – Kingdom Rulers

And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:6

God’s intention from time immemorial was to have a kingdom where all His subjects will be kings ruling over His works. That was why God gave man dominion in Genesis—He created man to rule. Sadly, man lost his right to the world when Adam committed treason and gave Satan dominion over it. The good news is that Jesus came, died, went to hell to whip the devil and take back the authority from Satan (Colossians 2:15). Afterwards, He rose triumphantly from the grave and ascended into heaven.

Now that He has risen from the dead, the Bible says that He has made us kings and priests like Himself unto God. Jesus has literally given us the right to kingship. Born again, we are born kings—born into royalty. We belong to the royal family of the Monarch of the universe, and we rule with Him. No wonder Peter said, ‘But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light’.

We are God’s offspring, therefore we are born kings and not commoners. You should be aware of your heritage and walk in that consciousness. Take full advantage of your kingly ministry as a believer. Kings reign; therefore reign in life as the king that you are, and the devil, His cohorts, and the forces of nature will respond to your decrees.

DOMINION: You must maximise dominion in every area of life by ruling over all the works of the devil.
