There is no heat without fire. The heat shows the intensity of the fire. You cannot be near a burning fire and not feel the effect. Likewise, you cannot be close to God and not experience God tangibly.

Dear believer, your Christian life becomes more interesting as you get closer to God. Do not be one of the Israelites who asked that they stay far away at the foot of the mountain while Moses alone went closer to God and spoke with Him on the mountain (Exodus 19:16–20).

The more fire you carry out of God’s presence, the more the effect of the heat is felt among people that surround you. Do not be the kind of believer that makes demons feel comfortable around you. Be on fire. Carry the heat of the fire around you that demons would flee at your presence. It was the same effect of heat that Jesus carried while just walking into a city and a demon-possessed man cried out saying, have you come here to torment us before the time? (Matthew 8:29)

As a believer, you should never be satisfied with where you are. There is more in God.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father Lord, help my heart to be right with you.
2. Father Lord, take away every spirit of weariness in me and let me press more into you.
3. Father Lord, keep your fire burning in me and let the world around me feel the effect of the heat.
