And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2

There are two kingdoms in the earth—the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. All ideas, beliefs, and methods of operation fall under one of these categories. The kingdom of darkness operates through a system the Bible refers to as ‘The World’. The world system opposes the word of God, and is based on the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life (1 John 2:16), and is headed for destruction. God desires that for everyone who has come to the saving knowledge of Christ, there should be a switch of systems from the system of the world to the system of the kingdom of God.

Believers are a part of God’s kingdom and should no longer run their lives according to the world’s system. Our king is Jesus and our constitution is the Bible, which contains the guidelines for how we are supposed to conduct ourselves in the kingdom of God.

Living by the kingdom system means saying no to the seduction and enticement of the world. In choosing God’s way of doing things, you will definitely face opposition and persecution. However, God will certainly deliver and promote you if you trust Him.

PRAYER: By the power of the Holy Spirit in me, I decree and declare that I no longer live in the world system. I say no to the enticement of this world. I live in by the dictates of the system of God’s kingdom. In Jesus name, amen.
