DAY TWENTY-FOUR FIRE | TO BREAK EVERY YOKE

by Nov 25, 202130 Days of Fresh Fire0 comments

“It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing.”
Isaiah 10:27

What is a yoke?
Yoke is that piece of wood placed over the neck of two bulls to pull a cart or plough. This yoke dictates the direction of the animals. Though it is small, it limits the movement of the two animals as they cannot move freely. Similarly, people are limited in life and destiny because of the yoke of sickness, poverty, lack, fear and demonic oppression the devil had placed over them.

However, the Bible has made us understand that the anointing of the Holy Ghost can destroy these kinds of yoke. The first physical evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2, was the cloven tongue of fire that sat on the disciples head. This is an indication that the Holy Ghost comes as a fire first to destroy the devil’s works before He establishes the kingdom of God in the heart of anyone.

The fire of the Holy Ghost destroys every form of the yoke, but he needs your cooperation. But then, how do you work together with the Holy Ghost to break free from limitations? The simple answer is in your prayers and fasting. The Bible says, “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” (Isaiah 58:6-7).

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father Lord, break away every yoke limiting my progress.
2. Father Lord, enable me to fast and pray till I see my change come.
3. I decree and declare freedom from every form of bondage.
